What is G4C Learn?

G4C Learn programs empower youth to become socially conscious digital storytellers and creators, using game design to integrate STEAM skills with social-emotional learning. G4C designs learning experiences for youth and educators across a wide range of content areas that are inclusive, hands-on and relevant to their skills, experience, and interests.

G4C Student Challenge

G4C Learn’s flagship program, the G4C Student Challenge, is an international game design competition inviting youth to create digital games inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The program uses youth interest in video games to empower them as change-makers and develop future-ready skills including coding, digital design, collaboration, communication, problem solving, and systems thinking.

Game Plan for Educators

Game Plan is a 15-20 hour professional development program for educators empowering them to integrate games and play into classrooms, community programs, and afterschool settings by adapting methods and materials from the Games for Change Intro to Game Design Curriculum. The program, led by game designers and experts in game-based learning, provides a deep dive into the game design process and the power of games and play to engage youth in meaningful learning.

Next-Gen Summit for Youth

The Next-Gen Summit is G4C’s premier youth event, designed to inspire and empower teens (ages 13-18) from underserved communities to explore careers in gaming and STEAM. Next-Gen uniquely connects students with industry professionals who share their backgrounds while strengthening their skills through inclusive skill-building workshops.
